I've been seeking a layout inspiration for our NYC apartment rental for the past month. My fiancé and I want to make the living room into a studio working space because we are both designers and do a lot of work from home. An inspired and comfortable work space will be really helpful to create a great working atmosphere. The work space in the picture above uses three desks to create a long office table which is a great idea if you do not want to spend a lot of money for a long custom work table.

Desks face against the window or face a window brings tons of light into the work space.

Put the desk next to the window and against the wall, using a shelf next to the desk and using the back wall makes it easier to reach your working tools.

Two desks set in the opposite direction or share the same wall.
