NEW BLACK COAT

H&M coat / plaid shirt / boots, Mango sunglasses,  American Eagle jeans, Forever 21 Necklace

This outfit was my first time wearing a new black coat from my Spring Festival shopping list. The best thing about black outerwear is that it can almost go with anything in your wardrobe, but it isn't always so easy to find one that is both chic and classic. I always look at the tailoring and details first when it come to choosing a coat. This coat is very simple and masculine with an oversized casual appearance. The golden zipper and the sheep fur collar bring the coat some feminine elements, totally something I was looking for. It has been my go-to piece for a week, and I'm so in love with it!

DIY HAND WARMERS

Remember my previous post titled, DIY Beanie? Here is another DIY that is made from an old sweater. I have been in the mood to up-cycle materials and discover different possibilities for old sweaters. It's been so much fun to make something new from something old and have a chance to use them right away. Hand warmers are especially great when you need all your fingers available on a cold day and don't want to trap your hands in mittens. I'm actually wearing them while typing right now! For the people who are working in the fashion field, fashion weeks are always the craziest weeks in the year. There are so many new designs that are being shown off from the most talented designers. I started watching the live streaming fashion week from BCBG Max Azria. It is so amazing that I can watch the show while it's happening.

CHINESE NEW YEAR OUTFIT

January and February have always been my favorite months to shop. Not only are there great sales for winter clothing, but there are also great deals on other merchandise too. Usually, I seek basic and classic pieces for the rest of winter and the upcoming spring. Last week, I visited +H&M for my Spring Festival (Chinese New Year) outfit.
