I'm very excited to announce that I just opened my very first Etsy store 3 days ago (which happened to be the last day of 2013), and I've already made my first sale.
The white pair of mittens shown in the picture above was sold to my first customer. I still can't believe I made my first order the day after I opened the shop. I have always had a strong conviction that fashion should be comfortable first and foremost. When it comes to winter, staying warm outside is the most important thing. So when my future mother-in-law introduced me to mittens as a fun project a month ago, it totally inspired me. I was thinking about opening a Etsy store, but never actually did anything. I made couple pair of mittens, then I found they will be a great start for my business on Etsy. I started doing research about mittens and I found all I needed was to produce a pair of simple, modern looking mittens, that are both timeless and fashionable. They can easily go with any outfit and keep you warm for the whole winter. They are designed and made from upcycled sweaters which helps to cut back on material waste in the environment. The pair below are the newest release in my shop, and I'm still designing additional new ones that I would like to add to my listing.
